Induction!

Only today did I remember what I wanted to post here. It's about induction in Physics (and it's applications).
Relax! No induction for electrostatics, or magnetism here. They are only examples to the real thing. To explain why magnets attract iron bars, we say that the magnet has induced an opposite pole on the iron bar at the near end ... and so on.
Ok, the 1 million dollars question: Who can explain why boys attract girls (and vice versa)? Explain in terms of something being induced (induction)!
